What to Do When Your System Shows a Production Issue Error

Where Will You See the ‘System Production Issue’ Error?

If your system is experiencing production issues, the ‘System Production Issue’ error message will be displayed on the top right of the screen in the status tab of the Enphase App.

Steps to Troubleshoot a ‘System Production Issue’

As a system owner, follow this checklist to troubleshoot a ‘System Production Issue’:

  1. Check the Weather:

    • Unusual weather may trigger a production issue if actual system production is below the estimated production, even though the system is functioning normally.
    • Check the recent weather in your area to determine if this is the cause.
    • If your system frequently flags a production issue due to weather, consider lowering the threshold versus the estimate to prevent frequent error messages.
  2. Check Breakers:

    • Locate the load center, where all the circuit breakers are. It is typically found on the side of the house or building or in the garage.
    • Check if any of the breakers are tripped. If so, flip them back on and observe for 24 hours to see if production returns to normal.
  3. Contact Support:
