Most battery systems (like the Tesla Powerwall) build a microgrid by cycling between PV power and battery discharge — capping available power at the battery's output.
Enphase's microgrid forms in microseconds, monitors house loads, and delivers power directly from the inverters — combining solar and battery output. It also integrates with pure-sinewave generators and bi-directional EV chargers for unmatched flexibility.
